INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW STUDENTS

ACADEMIC RECORD OF INCOMING STUDENTS IN 2025

Candidates who have been approved and qualified for the 2025 Selection Process must register exclusively online between December 23, 2024 and January 10, 2025, by filling in the form available on the website https://sistemas.ufmg.br/cadastroprevio and sending the following documentation to the email address processoseletivo.posfaeufmg@gmail.com by January 10, 2025:

a) electoral discharge certificate issued by the TSE website, www.tse.jus.br/eleitor/certidoes/certidao-de-quitacao-eleitoral. Individual voting receipts will not be accepted in the case of Brazilian candidates;

b) proof of being up to date with military obligations, in the case of Brazilian male candidates;

c) recent proof of residence (last four months), in the case of Brazilian applicants;

d) birth or marriage certificate, in the case of Brazilian candidates.

The Academic Registration and Control Department (DRCA) will take steps to carry out the Academic Registration after receiving the complete documentation of the candidates approved and classified in the Selection Process, in the required form (legible copies and without erasures), and the completion of the Prior Registration Form by the candidate approved and classified in the Selection Process. The complete documentation of those selected will be sent to the DRCA by the Program Secretariat by February 27, 2025.

Candidates who have submitted, during the registration period, a document proving that they are in a position to complete their undergraduate degree before the Academic Registration period for the postgraduate course, must submit to the Program Secretariat, by February 25, 2025, a document proving that they have completed their undergraduate degree (copy of the undergraduate diploma issued by an official or officially recognized establishment or a declaration of completion of the course stating the date of graduation). Declarations with expected completion or graduation dates will not be accepted.

In the case of an undergraduate degree completed abroad, a copy of the undergraduate degree must be submitted to the Program Secretariat by February 25, 2025, with the appropriate consular legalization, in accordance with current legislation, and a sworn translation into Portuguese of the undergraduate degree, except for those issued in Spanish, French and English.

Foreign applicants must present to the Program Secretariat, by February 25, 2025, their National Foreigner Registration – RNE or National Migratory Registration – RNM or Registration Certificate issued by the Federal Police; passport with valid Permanent Visa or Temporary Student Visa or Mercosur Visa; proof of residence in Brazil; CPF and other documents to be informed by the Program Secretariat.

Simultaneous academic registration in more than one undergraduate course or in more than one postgraduate course is prohibited, in accordance with the provisions of art. 39, § 2, of the UFMG General Regulations.

Candidates who fail to complete the Preliminary Registration on the date set for this procedure or who fail to present any of the documents requested in the Public Notice will automatically lose their right to the vacancy and will be considered to have formally withdrawn.

The vacancy(ies) resulting from these situations will be filled by summoning other successful candidates until the deadline for sending the documentation to the DRCA, strictly observing the ranking order in the Selection Process.

Note: Students who do not have access to the minhaufmg system by 06/02/2025 and are therefore unable to submit their enrollment proposal by this deadline must wait for further instructions from the PPGE secretariat.
